So ended up buying them anyway to try them out. Great pickups. Put them in my classic 60s strat. Best idea ever. I think these are basically big dippers. They just don't call them that. The customer shop artist inspired "the black61" play one words of John Mayer's "black1" has these in it. So context clues to me shows its Fenders way of getting prs back.
