I wanted to try something new after using Istanbul, heartbeat, and Meinl cymbals. I'll have to say the only cymbal fit for a worship environment are the hats and they have become my favorite hats for everything now. The downside of these cymbals are the crashes. The 16" and 18" fast crashes are incredibly bright and not washy (meaning that they don't swell well, which is important for worship) and dark. The ride is ok needs to be thinner to crash better. If, you are interested in this look at Heartbeat percussion, their cymbals are the only cymbals to be designed for contemporary worship. More details v Beautiful cymbals, definitely on dark end of tonal spectrum Verified Buyer ***** submitted 8 years ago by Johansen from San Diego Cymbals are high quality. Tone is dark. These are not bright, cutting cymbals. It's not a thud, either; I would say just softer muted tone. I "think" I like the sound. They're not junk, for sure; it's a quality, nuanced, nice sound. Will take a while of messing around with them. The ride and bell sound really good. The 2 crashes build very quickly; very responsive. The hat is a good solid sound - it's not wimpy or anything. I was using bright cymbals before, and these are definitely a different tone. At this point (just 1 week into them) I think I'm going to like them More details v Not what the picture sho Verilfied Buyer
