Yamaha Stage Custom Birch Bass Drum 20 x 17 in. Natural Wood

$552.00

As with the introduction of Stage Custom in 1995 Yamaha once again sets the standards of value and sound. The shell is a key factor in a drum's ability to "rumble," or resonate. Accordingly, the Stage Custom employs 100% birch - a classic in the realm of high-class drum kits. Moreover, with its six-ply structure the Stage Custom accurately conveys the vibrations produced at the impact surface, achieving performance that overwhelms anything in its class. Just added a new 22 inch bass drum to the kit. The new drums have some changes from the old such as new hoops, hardware, different lugs and better shells. Definitely recommend changing the heads. More details v Better than the 22" version submitted 6 years ago ***** by Woodman from Raleigh NC I own the current model Stage Custom kit with 22" kick, I really like the toms but had never been thrilled with the kick drum sound, finding it lacked a little punch when compared to some of the other I have owned. After trying a friends 20" SC kick I thought I would give it a try, plus it is easier/smaller to lug around. I honestly think the 20 somehow produces a deeper tone and more punch than the 22. Used both with Evans EMAD batter head and no other muting. Guess I will be selling the 22! More details v < Previous $1.00 Next
