Real life nutrition was began in March of 2005, because I wanted to teach diabetes education the way I felt was most effective, and in a setting that was convenient to the patients we serve. The mission of Real Life Nutrition is to supply affordable, easily accessible nutrition counselling and diabetes education to the community that will empower them to improve their health. Real Life Nutrition is an American Diabetes Association recognized program. Our staff includes owner and registered dietitian Katherine Shaw, registered nurse Connie Kendrick and physical therapist Bill Mercer.
